Jane Margaret Tudor

I am a practising contemporary artist based in North Wales.
I completed a BA (Hons) Fine Art at North Wales School of Art and Design, Glyndwr University, Wrexham in 2009.
My work is informed by my emotional responses to life events.
My current work is concerned with the deconstruction of these responses relating to a Deep Vein Thrombosis. The containment of the blood clot and my obsession with clotting factor readings have become triggers to these responses.
This body of work has been underpinned by feelings of fear, uncertainty and the realization of my own mortality. I have explored issues of anxiety, danger and apprehension.
Creating a metaphor for life and death.
I am now beginning an additional body of work- ‘You say goodbye and I say hello’.
